MAIN RESULTS / FINDINGS

  • This Module 1 will focus on quality and success-factors of interrelation along the INTERREG-Service-Chain of cross-border cooperation
  • The good cooperation between so many different actors and bodies within the complex network of INTERREG is crucial to achieve objectives and targets: Successful projects and sustainable growth of the regional economies
  • In the INTERREG-Service chain actors from several levels and different roles are involved on bilateral or multilateral:
    - National level – Managing Authorities, JTS…
    - Regional level – Implementing bodies, funding organisations, regional management agencies, regional development agencies…
    -Local level – project actors, NGOs, municipalities, LEADER groups…
  • One of the most important quality factors within INTERREG is the capability of finding a common understanding of the economic, social and political differences in the regions we are serving.
  • It is also necessary to be able to look with the eyes of the other partners respecting and appreciating their viewpoint
  • Module 1 will act as continuous reflecting team within Iq-Train and will steer the training programme of Iq-Train from a content point of view. This means that the workshops of module 1 will reflect the outcomes of other training modules and assist to them by developing basic tools, figures and definitions.
  • 2 figures have been elaborated and discussed during the first workshop of module 1, an INTERREG actors map and an INTERREG service chain

  • Module 2 - Role of Regional Management and RDAs
    Key issues:
    » present and future roles of RM/RDAs
    » involvement in programming
    » can/should RMs/RDAs act as Lead Partners?
    » How can RMs/RDAs act as supporting structures for IBs?
    » Quality aspects of the specific intermediary role of RMs/RDAs

    » What are most relevant indicators and how could they be reduced to a package that could be overseen and handled by INTERREG-actors?
    » What are necessary skills and competencies of evaluators taking technical and social competencies into account?
    » How can evaluation made more valuable for INTERREG-actors?

  • Module 4 - New SF-Period 2007 – 2013
