Iq-Train finished by December 2007

Iq-Train finished its activities by 31 December 2007. During the last 4 years Iq-Train implemented 53 workshops and 2 conferences with a total of more than 1.000 participations of INTERREG / ETC-programme actors, developed tools including the “Objective 3 cross-border cooperation-handbook for project-holders” and documented all these and additional activities on this website. All these achievements have only been possible due to the active participation of the Iq-Train community. Facing the end of the project we would like to thank all participants for their engagement and contributions to Iq-Train! Please note our "Iq-Train result report", summing up the achievements and findings of the last 4 years. We hope you enjoy reading this brochure recalling the major milestones and outcomes of our common project (see link on the navigation bar)

Objective 3 cross-border cooperation handbook 2007-13

Iq-Train developed an "Objective 3 cross-border handbook for project-holders" which is now online available via this homepage! The first part of this handbook provides an overview about basic principles, such as new common rules (e.g. Lead Partner Principle), the project life-cycle and information about who can apply. The second part gives detailed information about the following 6 new bilateral programmes: Bavaria-Austria, Austria-Czech Republic, Austria-Slovakia, Austria-Hungary, Austria-Slovenia and Italy-Austria. Information is provided in all 6 programme-languages (German, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Slovene, Italian). The handbook was developed in close cooperation with the respective programme-management organisations and will constantly be adapted in future(contact-details,application formats, checklists,...).

In June Iq-Train will focus on the world of projects in ETC. On 5 June project-development and -implementation procedures shall be considered from the viewpoint of future project-holders. Iq-Train Study tour

Iq-Train organises a study-tour to the border-regions of Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. With regard to the new programming-period 2007-2013 and the new challenges it will bring about this tour enables the participants to study new models of programme-management and to discuss multiple programme-relevant issues with representatives from all different INTERREG-programme-levels from within this region which is regularly referred to as a role-model for INTERREG-programme implementation. Iq-Train supports programming for future bilateral programmes

The Iq-Train project-partners and neighbouring regions are deeply involved in the process of programming for the future bilateral programmes 2007-2013. Iq-Train offers support for this process by organising Bilateral Programming Reflection Group (BiPReG) - meetings on demand within the four bilateral programmes AT-CZ, AT-SI, AT-IT and AT-DE(Bavaria). In addition exchange of experiences and know-how across bilateral programmes will be encouraged by organising Common Programming Reflection Group (CoPReG) - meetings.
